What: National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an action-packed program designed to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their troops or crews. It’s a hands on, how to, course delivered in a unit and patrol centered, outdoor setting.

Who: Any registered Boy Scout or Venturer (male  or female). Boy Scouts must be 13 years of age by the start of the course; have completed seventh grade, and be at least First Class rank. A Venturer must have the recommendation of their crew advisor.  

When & Where: This course will be held over two (2) weekends in September.

  • Camp Wanocksett – Sept. 8-10 – 6 pm Friday to 4 pm Sunday            
  • Camp Split Rock – Sept. 22-24 – 6 pm Friday to 4 pm Sunday  

Cost: $255 per Scout
