Year Round Accommodations

Did you know your Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, Venturing Crew, School Student Council, or Outing Club can rent campsites and cabin at Camp Wanocksett?  Outside of the summer months (July & August) groups from across New England visit Camp Wanocksett for weekend outings.  The facilities at camp, and the proximity to Mount Monadnock make a great opportunity to help support your unit's year round camping program.  Reservations are available on a first-come/first-serve basis and must be made through the council service center.  To make a reservation, please call (978) 534-3532.

Campsites

Amenities - Each site includes toilet facilities, tent platforms, and picnic tables.  Water is available in campsites between May and October, and at the Ranger's house year round.  

Cost - $50 per weekend per campsite for Boy & Girl Scout Groups; $60 for outside groups

Availability - A total of 15 campsites are available for rental at Camp Wanocksett.  Campsites are typically available year-round (except during the summer program season), though Council events may reserve the entire camp.  Please consult NVC Service Center prior to planning your outing.  

Memorial Lodge

Amenities - Memorial Lodge is located in the parking lot of Camp Wanocksett.  This cabin features electricity, a wood stove and two picnic tables. A restroom facility is located nearby. Water is available in the parking lot between May and October, and across the street at the Ranger's house year round.  

Capacity - Bunk beds with camp mattresses sleep a total of 28 people.  A partition wall separates the cabin into two rooms for Adult and Youth sleeping arrangements.  

Cost - $175 per weekend for Boy & Girl Scout Groups; $350 for outside groups

Green Cabin

Amenities - The Green Cabin is located in the main field of Camp Wanocksett.  This cabin features electricity, a wood stove and two picnic tables.  A restroom facility is located nearby. Water is available in the parking lot between May and October, and across the street at the Ranger's house year round.   

Capacity - Bunk beds with camp mattresses sleep a total of 24 people.    

Cost - $150 per weekend for Boy & Girl Scout Groups; $300 for outside groups

 

Waterfront Cabin

Amenities - The Waterfront Cabin is located in the main field of Camp Wanocksett.  This cabin features electricity, a wood stove and two picnic tables.  A restroom facility is located nearby. Water is available in the parking lot between May and October, and across the street at the Ranger's house year round.   

Capacity - Bunk beds with camp mattresses sleep a total of 30 people.  A partition wall separates the cabin into two rooms for Adult and Youth sleeping arrangements.  

Cost - $200 per weekend for Boy & Girl Scout Groups; $400 for outside groups

 

Outpost Campsite

Amenities - The Outpost campsite is located at the extreme northern end of Camp Wanocksett.  This campsite features a fire pit and outhouse style latrine.  Limited off-street parking is available at the site.  Water is available in the parking lot between May and October, and across the street at the Ranger's house year round.   

Capacity - Bunk beds sleep a total of 20 people in a total of 5 3-sided buildings.   

Cost - $75 per weekend for Boy & Girl Scout Groups; $125 for outside groups

 

Cook's Cabin

Amenities - The Cook's Cabin is located in the center of camp just north of our Dining Hall.  This cabin features a small fireplace, and a sink and shower.  Limited off-street parking is available at the site.  Hot and cold water is available in the cabin between May and October, and cold water can be located at the Ranger's house year round.   

Capacity - A total of 6 beds with camp mattresses are in the cabin, and a small living room with a chair and couch can be used for relaxing after a long day of hiking the mountain.  

Cost - $75 per weekend for Boy & Girl Scout Groups; $150 for outside groups

 

Dining Hall

Amenities - The Camp Wanocksett Dining Hall is located in the center of camp.  This building features ample seating for even the largest events.  The fully stocked kitchen, complete with ovens, mixers, dishwashing, and refrigeration, can be used for your group's family outing or fundraising bake sale.  Hot and cold water is available between May and October, and cold water can be located at the Ranger's house year round. (Use of the kitchen may be limited based on the operation of the water system.)

Capacity - A total of 32 ten-person tables can be set up in the dining hall area.  The building is handicapped accessible. 

Cost - $300 per weekend for Boy & Girl Scout Groups; $300 for outside groups
