In this review, we bring you another nootropic comparison. This time, we checked Dynamic Brain by Stonehenge Health and Brainol by Consumer Health.
Who wins? Let’s find out. If you are in a hurry, here is a quick summary.
Dynamic Brain vs Brainol SUMMARY:
We are not impressed with either Dynamic Brain or Brainol. Although they contain some great vitamins and minerals, their nootropic formula falls short. They have some good nootropic compounds, but their doses are either underdosed or hidden in a proprietary blend.
Brainol takes the win only due to the fact its ingredient list is transparent and doesn’t hide any of its doses as Dynamic Brain does. But as far as the overall impression goes, they are both far from the best products on the market.

Dynamic Brain vs Brainol: About the Products
About Dynamic Brain
Dynamic Brain is a supplement in the form of capsules that claims to boost your cognitive power with the help of its all-natural formula. It contains over 40 different ingredients, which is more than impressive!
For optimizing brain health, Dynamic Brain contains a blend of DHA Omega 3 fatty acids, Huperzine A, Phosphatidylserine, Bacopa extract, and Dimethylethanolamine (DMAE), and more.
In addition to its nootropic blend, it contains an impressive mixture of various vitamins and minerals. That way not only does it help boost your brainpower but supports the immunity system and energy levels as well.
About Brainol
Brainol is another nootropic in the form of capsules that claims to enhance memory, mental endurance, and focus. Manufacturers say it is the #1 choice for optimizing brainpower, which is a strong claim.
Just like Dynamic Brain, Brainol contains a mixture of various nootropics, vitamins, and minerals. It has noticeably fewer ingredients than Dynamic Brain, but as we emphasized in our Brainol review, that doesn’t automatically mean it is less good. Sometimes, less is more.
The most important part – the nootropic formula, is very similar to the one of the Dynamic Brain. They share a lot of the same ingredients, so at a first look, they are pretty similar.
However, does that mean they are equally effective? To find out, let’s take a closer look at their ingredient list.
Dynamic Brain vs Brainol: Ingredients
Dynamic Brain’s Ingredients
We already made a detailed Dynamic Brain review here. Since then, our opinion hasn’t changed much.
In terms of the quantity, we have to admit – Dynamic Brain’s formula looks impressive. It contains a large number of ingredients, which is something you don’t see so often. But, other than that, we are not too impressed.
Considering Dynamic Brain is a brain supplement, we are pretty disappointed with its nootropic formula. All of the brain-enhancing ingredients are hidden in a proprietary blend.
Don’t get us wrong, it contains some good ingredients. However, all of the individual doses are hidden, which means we cannot be sure how effective they are. This is a pretty standard trick manufacturers use to save money and hide low doses. When you see something like this, it should automatically raise your suspicion.
On the other hand, Dynamic Brain contains a good combination of minerals and vitamins. Although such addition is always welcomed in a nootropic supplement, it should never be the main focus of it- the nootropic formula should. And in this case, it disappoints. Therefore, we are not too impressed with Dynamic Brain.
To us, it seems like manufacturers prioritized quantity in their formula rather than quality. Which is almost never a better choice. More ingredients don’t automatically mean better supplements, and unfortunately, Dynamic Brain proves it.
It might be a good source of vitamins and minerals, but as an effective nootropic, Dynamic Brains didn’t fulfill our expectations.
Brainol’s Ingredients
Brainol has noticeably fewer ingredients than Dynamic Brain. However, unlike Dynamic Brain, it doesn’t hide its doses. Transparency is something you should always look for when purchasing a supplement. Other than that, how good is Brainol’s formula?
Except for vitamins and minerals, it contains some great nootropic ingredients as well. And quite a large number of them.
We are glad ingredients such as Phosphatidylserine, L-Theanine, and L-Tyrosine found their place in Brainol. However, we have to admit – most of the ingredients are underdosed. We would much rather see fewer ingredients in Brainol, but the ones in it, at more potent doses.
Also, there are some ingredients we are not too thrilled to be here. For example, Huperzine A. Although it seems to be effective as a cognitive enhancement (at least in the elders), it requires cycling and a pause from taking. This means the off period can interfere with the rest of the Brainiol’s formula and limit the effect of other ingredients.
Our Commentary on Ingredients
Although we are not too impressed with either of them, Brainol is a clear winner over Dynamic Brain. The Dynamic Brain contains more ingredients, but the Brainol showed to be better.
Unfortunately, it is not because of the superior formula. The main reason is transparency. The hidden doses of the Dynamic Brain didn’t even allow us to evaluate how effective it is. So there is no doubt that Brainol is the winner in this face-off.
But does this win make Brainol competent enough to stand strong among the leading nootropic supplements on the market? Unfortunately no.
Its formula is nowhere near impressive as the current best-rated brain health supplements.. Although Brainol is better than Dynamic Brain, there are still far better options on the market. Especially within that price range.
Dynamic Brain vs Brainol: Side Effects
Generally speaking, both supplements are considered safe and shouldn’t cause any adverse side effects.
However, both Dynamic Brain and Brainol contain Huperzine-A and DMAE Bitartrate, which are both known that can cause minor side effects. These include stomach upset, headaches, nausea, sweating.
As always, it is best to speak to your health care provider before taking any dietary supplements. Especially if you have a history of health issues.
Dynamic Brain vs Brainol: Customer Reviews
Surprisingly, despite the high price and below-average formula, Dynamic Brain is not so badly received among customers. On Amazon, it got an average rate of 4 out of 5. On the other hand, Brainol got 3.9 out of 5, which is slightly lower than Dynamic Brain.
However, only around 50% of customers gave them 5-stars. This doesn’t surprise considering the high prices and below-average formula.
Pricing & Availability
Brainol and Dynamic Brain belong into the category of more expensive supplements.
On the official Consumer Health site, Brainnol sells from $23.30 to $49.95 per bottle. The deal depends on how many Brainol packages you decide to purchase. The most expensive one is for a single pack, while the cheapest one is for a bundle of 6 Brainol bottles.
Dynamic Brain is even more expensive. In some online shops, it costs up to $53.99. However, on the official Stonehenge Health site, there is a subscription option for purchasing Dynamic Brain every few months. Depending on the deal, you can get Dynamic Brain bottle from $29.99 to $40.99 per bottle.
Final Verdict
Between the two, Brainol is the winner. However, that is not because of the great formula but only due to the fact it didn’t hide its doses as Dynamic Brain did.
That is not enough to recommend Brainol as an effective brain supplement. A much better formula is needed. Unfortunately, Neither Dynamic Brain nor Brainol can compete with the leading products on the market.
Both products are also pretty expensive. So we would recommend spending your money elsewhere.
