Summary: GenBrain is a nootropic supplement that claims to give your brain a boost in all areas – including mental energy, clarity, memory, and concentration. GenBrain uses a few well-known ingredients that may help with memory and, the capsules are an average size making them easy to swallow. Since the supplement uses natural nootropic ingredients, the supplement presumably won’t cause significant side effects and may improve cognitive function. Though there may be some pros for GenBrain, there is an overwhelming amount of negative feedback. GenBrain is a proprietary blend supplement with no dose or formula size, no ingredient list, no user opinions anywhere, no official website for the supplement, and it’s too expensive for the product’s quality. To put it mildly, GenBrain isn’t one of the best nootropic supplements we’ve seen.

GenBrain is a nootropic supplement meant to promote nerve growth in the brain, support increased blood flow, boost brain energy, support brain cell membranes, and protect you from free radicals. But do these claims hold up to scrutiny?
Well, our first impressions aren’t the best. GenBrain uses a proprietary blend, contains ALCAR as a filler, and contains Huperzine A, which can be dangerous if taken daily for long periods.
You can see our breakdown of the ingredients below. Be sure to ask any questions in the comments at the bottom of this report.
Ingredients in GenBrain
Bacopa Monnieri – Dose Unknown
Bacopa monnieri is one of the best natural nootropics for memory and overall cognitive health to ever exist. Consuming Bacopa monnieri daily; is highly effective for improving memory, cognitive performance; and relieving stress. Clinical trials have shown that supplementing with Bacopa monnieri for 6-12 weeks is especially effective at improving memory function in older people with mild cognitive impairment. Young participants had also shown significant improvements. The minimum active dose of Bacopa monnieri is 150mg, and that’s when using a potent, high-bacoside extract.
Ginkgo biloba – Dose Unknown
Ginkgo biloba is a well-known herb used in Chinese medicine for its memory benefits. Ginkgo biloba is a highly effective nootropic proven to increase attention, improve memory, and prevent degenerative conditions. Ginkgo biloba has powerful antioxidant properties that combat brain aging; ginkgo biloba contains two types of compounds—terpenes and glycosides. These compounds increase cerebral circulation—terpenes increase blood viscosity, while glycosides stimulate vasodilation. Your result is better oxygen and nutrient delivery to your brain cells. Overall, a better cognitive function.
Vinpocetine – Dose Unknown
Vinpocetine is one of the most under-rated natural nootropics on the market. Vinpocetine likely works by acting as a neuroprotective agent, inhibiting oxidative damage and improving blood flow in the brain. Vinpocetine is said to boost brain flow and combat brain cell damage. Several clinical trials have proven the effectiveness of vinpocetine. Vinpocetine improves cognitive function across all measures such as memory, focus, learning, and mood. Vinpocetine needs to be taken for weeks and months to see its effectiveness. However, this is not possible due to the inclusion of Huperzine A in GenBrain’s formula.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine – Dose Unknown
Acetyl-L-Carnitine, more commonly known as ALCAR, is often consumed as a supplement by athletes to boost energy levels. In simple terms. ALCAR improves the efficiency of your mitochondria, releasing energy from food. Acetyl-L-Carnitine enhances brain function, memory, learning and prevents brain aging. ALCAR effects are subtle and mild. ALCAR is often used as a filler in nootropics because it is cheap to buy in large quantities. GenBrain’s use of ALCAR is a big problem because ALCAR is not potent or effective as a cognitive enhancer. We suspect they use a lot of ALCAR in their formula.
Our Commentary on GenBrain’s Ingredients
Overall, GenBrain looks like a substandard nootropic. No matter how you look at it, GenBrain compares poorly against other cognitive-enhancing supplements. GenBrain’s formula is awful and ineffective; it’s no wonder the company doesn’t show its ingredient list.
The main issue we have with GenBrain is the fact we don’t know the ingredient dosages. Without knowing GenBrain’s ingredient dosages, we won’t know how effective the nootropic is and if it will even work. Since ALCAR is not a beneficial nootropic ingredient, we have to assume the GenBrain uses ALCAR as a filler for the cheap cost.
Price & Dosage
The starting price at $49 is too pricey for the quality of the product. Though the product is unavailable to buy, the price was never worth the quality produced. Since there is no ingredient list and their according doses, GenBrain has not recommended dosage instructions. The product has failed in every aspect, so I would not fret about its unavailability.
Side Effects
Is GenBrain safe? It is difficult to say since GenBrain does not provide the ingredients and their equivalent doses. We don’t even know the total formula size, so we don’t have an upper limit for the ingredient doses.
However, all the ingredients are natural nootropics; deemed safe for human consumption through clinical trials. Side effects are unlikely and or mild. The only real risk is Huperzine A; the side effects are headaches, loss of focus, short-term memory loss, and muscle cramps. Huperzine A causes a build-up of acetylcholine in the brain, causing inevitable side effects. Too much acetylcholine is harmful, so you can only take GenBrain for periods of two weeks maximum.
Conclusion
GenBrain is an awful nootropic; we don’t see anyone serious about their brain health taking it. GenBrain lacks transparency, the so-called nootropic supplement has no official website, no dosage information, uses a proprietary blend, uses filler ingredient ALCAR, and dodgy reseller sites––these are all marks of a nootropic scam. Due to its downsides, we can’t see GenBrain as one of the best nootropics around; that’s assuming you can find a place to purchase the supplement! If you are interested in enhancing cognitive performance, look for a higher-quality nootropic that is safer and more effective.
